MARLBOROUGH’S SUBWAY SPIKERS' VOLLEYBALL PROGRAMME

The Marlborough Junior Volleyball League will operate during Term 1, 2024 to cater specifically for

Year’s 3 to 8 students.

Demonstration day (optional): 

Volleyball will be having a Demonstration Day on the 16th February:

Years 3/4 4.00pm - 4.30pm

Years 5/6 4.40pm – 5.10pm

Years 7/8 5.15pm – 5.45pm

League details for Term 1:

Venue: Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000, Blenheim

Time: Fridays 4.00pm – 6.30pm.

Duration: Friday 23rd February – Friday 12th April

Year Groups:

The Spikers’ Competition will have grades based on the following Year Groups 

Year 3/4 KiwiVolley Rotate 

Year 5/6 KiwiVolley Rally 

Year 7/8 KiwiVolley Spike

A Premier Grade will continue to run for the more senior players. This Grade is played 6-aside on a

full-sized volleyball court, playing under normal volleyball rules with one exception - The two-hit

rule. This league has been designed with year 7 & 8 players in mind as it helps them develop

skills as they head to college over the next year or two.

Uniform: Redwoodtown School T-Shirt and sports shorts. Appropriate footwear must also be worn for sports. 

Important: Teams must have a Parent supervisor court-side at every game.

Fees and Payments

Once you have registered you may pay the $37.50 per player fee at the school office or via internet banking.
