At Redwoodtown School, our new house system has been designed to strengthen connection, identity, and belonging across our kura while reflecting the rich narratives and values that sit at the heart of our school and connect deeply to our school pūrākau and Mangopare identity.
Together, our houses create opportunities for students to develop leadership, teamwork, school spirit, and whanaungatanga through sporting, cultural, academic, and community events across the year.
The designs and visual identities of each house have been created in a contemporary Māori street-art style, connected through Mangopare patterns that represent strength, resilience, and unity — values that continue to shape who we are as a school community.
