At Redwoodtown School we believe that students need to develop skills that will enable them to contribute positively to the society in which they will live. This means that they will be able to construct their own knowledge and understanding of an ever-changing world.

We teach this through our five values. These values are encouraged, valued and explored in all learning programmes and underpin our teaching at Redwoodtown. These values make effective learners and effective citizens.

Students self manage their progress as we grow together as effective learners. Students use the Effective Learners Profile to track their progress. This profile breaks down the values and links the key competencies and important concepts within each value.
