Sport and EDucation outside the classroom

Teachers are encouraged to make full use of the school and community environment in their teaching programmes. Field trips to local areas of interest, such as industries, parks, and streams, are regular features of the school programme. 

We also have a variety of camps for students from Year Four and up. The Year Four camp is an overnighter at Pine Valley. Years five and six generally have three-day camps at Teapot Valley or Kiwi Ranch. The year seven and eight students utilise a variety of camp options each year, including Bridge Valley and the Marlborough Sounds.
